Born in Baghdad, Iraq — the cradle of Mesopotamian civilization — Haider experienced the reality of war at a young age. Through discipline and determination, he became a gold medalist at the All Iraq Taekwondo Championship and a member of the national team.
In search of deeper meaning beyond achievement, he left his homeland and traveled the world. His journey led him to India, where he immersed himself in the study of yoga and discovered the transformative power of breath and meditation.
Guided by this awakening, he moved to Japan and founded SPIRIT Yoga Studio in Osaka in 2007. As a pioneer in Western Japan, he became the first to offer both 200-hour and 500-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training programs, setting a high standard for professional yoga education.
Today, Haider’s work integrates discipline, breath, philosophy, and healing, guiding others from outer strength to inner peace.
What I Do
At 6 HAWAS Yoga + Art Studio in Osaka, I teach both domestic and international students, offering online and offline personalized yoga and meditation classes. Each session is tailor-made using my unique Six Senses Method — a holistic approach blending breathwork, sound, sacred aromas, meditation, and organic movement.
Students learn to quiet the mind, reconnect with their senses, and experience deeper awareness of their body and self.
What Drives My Work
The guiding principle behind everything I do is simple: to make people’s lives easier and more fulfilling.
I believe we are living in a unique time — an era where spirituality expresses itself as beauty, and self-love becomes true healing. I feel the timing is right to share this as widely as possible and support people in transforming their lives.
By nurturing our physical health, mental well-being, emotions, and spirit, we can live better, more connected lives together. I have walked a challenging path myself, and now I share the practices and tools that supported me — so they can support your journey too.
My Involvement with nehan
I had always dreamed of sharing my experiences, knowledge, and everything I have learned in life within the embrace of nature. That dream became reality when I met the nehan team. Being in this place, everything feels in harmony, and you naturally realign with yourself. It resonates deeply with my own practice and teachings.
At nehan retreats, participants open up their bodies and create space through yoga movement, pranayama, meditation, sound therapy, and other holistic modalities. The key is letting go — letting go of overthinking, judgment, and expectation — simply surrendering to your own sensations and feelings. Through this process, you reclaim your power to feel fully and return to your true self. This is the essence of what the retreat offers.
Any Final Message?
I know what it’s like to lose yourself — to overthink, forget how to feel with your heart, and wonder who you really are. If any of this resonates with you, this retreat is for you.
Here, there is no judgment, and every participant is seen and valued. With respect and love, we walk the soul’s journey together, step by step. By the end of the retreat, you can see it in the participants’ faces — lighter, clearer, more aligned with themselves.
You can come alone, or with a partner or family. Something meaningful will always open up here. I look forward to welcoming you one day.
